I am an educator and designer who believes that working in creative fields is the most effective tool to inspire people, and it is the best way to create positive change on a global scale. I see continuing my own design business outside of my teaching responsibilities as a good way to keep my fingers on the design world and inform my teaching as well. I view design as user-centric, collaborative, and experimental, and I will continue to develop my career to inspire these same values in the students I teach and in the greater design world.

As a teacher, my goal is to inspire my students, developing their design thinking, conceptual development, creativity, and preparing them for creative careers where they are able to communicate their ideas through design.
